FUND RAISED - VRINDA SEROHI

Growing up in India, Vrinda Serohi was sensitive to the abuse, exploitation, and manipulation of unprivileged women – a dark facet of the society that is of great concern and importance to her. Although she never had to live the circumstances herself, questioning the Societal apathy and empathizing with these women was important for her.She realized that one of the best means to empower such women is to financially liberate them.

The underprivileged Women have exciting ideas and programs, but time and time again they can’t raise the money for their programs. Vrinda wanted to make a change/ contribute for the empowerment of such women by tapping into her network and her community to raise funds for providing this capital for business ideas - through social media, and in person she reached out to friends and family, not only to increase awareness on the empowerment of women, but also to inform them on why and how they could contribute to the cause.
